As part of the mission of the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), Office of AIDS (OA) to prevent transmission of HIV, viral hepatitis, and other blood-borne infections, CDPH/OA accepts applications from organizations interested in adding syringe services to their programs and accepts public comment on these proposals.
